Richard Michel “Mickey” LeBrun, Jr., age 64, of Middletown, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, March 19, 2023.

Born in Havre de Grace, MD on August 5, 1958, he was the son of the late Richard Michel and Blanche Mae (Jones) LeBrun. Mickey worked as an electrician and was the president of Quantum Controls.

In his spare time, Mickey enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden, drinking in his gazebo at his outdoor bar, and playing games like cornhole and ping pong with family before diving into his pool to cool off. Mickey loved visiting and spending time at the family property in West Virginia. Dedicated to his profession, he served as president of the Cecil County Electrical Board. Above all, Mickey cherished the time spent with his family.

Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Blanche LeBrun. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Susan (Hardy) LeBrun; children, John Harkins (Amber), Kelly Harkins (Marlow), Rick LeBrun (Brooke), Mike “Opie” Harkins (Joanna), Shannon Comley (Brian), and Jessica LeBrun; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 7 siblings: Renee (Bill), David (Kathy), Patrice (John), Mark (Wonda), Pete, Bruce (Theresa), and Alan (Samantha); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many beloved friends and employees of Quantum Controls.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Casual dress is encouraged.
