Bob, you will be so missed. You were a loved member of our family for over 63 years. I can remember watching you pick up Joyce for a date and giggling while hiding behind a wall. Every once in a while we were allowed to go to the drive in with you and Joyce. You were always so kind and gentle which made you all the more loved. My heart is broken. Love and miss you, Bar

There are people in your life who have an impact that shapes part of your character, views and your overall outlook on life and Bob was one of those people in my life. He was one of the most genuinely kind, caring and family oriented human beings I have ever had the privilege to have known. I know what the Taylors meant to my Mother and Father and I tell my siblings this sometimes that without Bob & Joyce Taylor there would have never been a Tharp family. So it is with a heavy heart I say R.I.P Bob! My love, sympathy and caring to Joyce, Bob & Karen, Scott and all of the Taylor family you are forever in my prayers.

I am one of Bob’s sister-in=laws. I remember when Bob was courting Joyce. He was so handsome. I would hide behind a door and peek at him. Joyce and Bob are the rocks of our family. We will miss Bob

Mrs. Taylor, my sincere condolences and it’s to my regret that I only just found out about Bob’s passing. I have many fond memories of you both as my Grandparent’s closest friends and Bob always displayed warmth and patience with me; a great man who lives on in hearts and memories. My thoughts are with you and the Taylor family.

Joyce & Betty, I just found Bob’Obit by searching for Joyce on my phone. I sent it to your cousin, Shirl in SC. My Dale died in August 2018 & Shirl is the only one left of the 7 kids..😢
