Robert J. Davis

Robert J. Davis, of Bear, DE, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at the age of 74.
He graduated from Newark High School and Goldey Beacom College. His early working career was spent as a Finance Controller. His later career took him over the road as a tractor trailer driver.
Bob enjoyed traveling, bowling, NASCAR, and University of Delaware football, having been a season-ticket holder for over 40 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph W. and Eleanor Davis and his brother, Gerald. Bob is survived by his wife of over 37 years, Julia Anne Davis, as well as numerous cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am on Wednesday morning, September 20, 2017, at the Hanover Presbyterian Church, 1801 N. Jefferson St., Wilmington, DE 19802. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob’s memory may be made to the Hanover Presbyterian Church, at the address listed above.
