Robert Kelly “Bob “Roach

 Robert Kelly “Bob“ Roach, age 90, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, June 17, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, on August 1, 1931, he was a son of the late Paul Roach and Josephine Roach Kelly. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army and was self employed in the printing industry.

Bob was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles. He was a fan of college football and loved all of the Philly sports teams. In his leisure time, he liked playing golf and he looked forward to his daily martinis.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his son, Robert Roach; sisters, Marie Kelly, Joanne VanAuken, and Katherine Wojick. He is survived by his son, Ronald Roach, of New Castle, DE; siblings, Jimmy Feeney (Joette) of Merritt Island, FL, and Evelyn McCorkle of Glen Olden, PA; grandchildren, Robert and Kierstyn; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for family and friend’s will be held at 1 pm on Friday, June 24, 2022, at St. Anthony’s Club, 1017 Gray St, New Castle, DE.
