Robin L. Buchler
May 24, 1956 - February 28, 2017
Robin Lynn Buchler, age 60, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, after courageously battling cancer for four years.
She was born in Baltimore, MD, and moved to Troy, PA shortly after her birth. She graduated from Troy Area High School in 1974. Robin began working on her college degree at Bloomsburg University and then graduated from Penn State University. She traveled and worked all around the world before settling in Wilmington, DE in 1992. She has worked at The Terrace at Greenhill, NVF, Connectiv, and for the past twelve years at Brookdale Assisted Living in Hockessin as their Business Office Coordinator.
Robin could be described as full of life, funny, kind, caring, good-hearted, and one-of-a-kind. Everyone that had the privilege of knowing Robin knew that she was completely non-judgmental and everyone’s confidant. She loved spending time at the beach with family and friends and found it relaxing and enjoyable.
She is predeceased by her father, Robert Buchler. She is survived by her mother, Nelda Kendall and her husband, Jack. Also surviving her is her brother, Brett (Carol) of Roxana, DE; nephews, Baptiste from San Diego, CA, Jacob and Caleb from Roxana and nieces, Sarah Buchler and Abigail Givens (Aaron), also from Roxana. In addition, Robin is survived by Guy Buchler (Fern) of Fenwick Island, DE and their children Patrick of Elkridge, MD and Christine Storm (Tyler) of Glen Burnie, MD, and longtime friend, Joe Corridori. Anyone that knew Robin would agree that this list of family would not be complete without mentioning the kids, Ling, Iggi, and especially Harriett, her beloved hairless cat who passed just a few days before her.
We would like to thank everyone for their calls, cards, thoughts and prayers during Robin’s illness.
Services and burial will be in Troy, PA at a later date as Robin wished.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Robin’s honor to Vitas Hospice, 100 Commerce Drive, Suite 302, Newark, DE 19713 or Faithful Friends, 12 Germay Drive, Wilmington, DE 19804.

I want to express my condolences to the family and close friends. We can never prepare ourselves for the pain of losing a loved one. But it is comforting to know that even God does not want to see death anymore (1Corinthians 15:26). I hope that the good memories, support from friends and family and the promises found in the Bible can bring you comfort at this time.
Shiela
I’m sorry to hear of your loss and wanted to share the Bible’s hope of a resurrection at John 5:28,29 at a time when there is no more sickness pain or death anymore right here on earth according to Revelation 21:3,4.Please read these scriptures and may the god of comfort give you comfort in this time of bereavement.

Oh Robin, I just found out today of your passing, I am so sorry and will miss you. I always looked forward to and so enjoyed your yearly pictures of your cats near the holidays. I never met you in person but enjoyed our talks for the short time I was your payroll contact at Brookdale and the emails we recently exchanged in my retirement. I treasure the cookbook you sent me of Delaware recipes and will miss you and your wonderful sense of humor. I am sorry for your families loss. Rest In Peace my dear friend…

** Robin, If TEARS could build a stairway and MEMORIES a lane, I would walk right up to HEAVEN and bring you home again.
Missing you, Mikee
