Romain Roland Agapitus JR Emmanuel Dolcy (Rrae), age 31, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019.
Born in St. Lucia on November 11, 1987, he was a son of Diana (Lubin) Dolcy and the late Agapitus Antoine Dolcy. Romain proudly worked for Piedmont Airlines as a flight attendant.
A passion for his career, Romain loved travelling. He had a creative mind and took pleasure in teaching, writing and mentoring. He proudly published 3 books. In his spare time, he enjoyed among other things, sewing, cooking and landscaping/gardening. His family was important to him and his fondest memories were made during time spent with them.
Romain is survived by his mother, Diana; husband, Delan Kolan Dolcy; siblings, Yolande Dolcy of New Castle, Deland Dolcy of Toronto, Charmain Dolcy of New Castle, Damain Dolcy of Bear, Antoinette Germaine Dolcy of New Castle, Diana Anius of the United Kingdom and Daren Dolcy of St. Lucia; nieces, Shaquan Edward of New Castle, Delandra Dolcy of Toronto and Elyssa Dolcy of Bear; mother-in-law, Bernadette Simon; brothers-in-law, Al Simon, Richy Simon, Dalton Faucher and Delon Simon of St. Lucia; best friends, Kennalyn Victor of New York and Lawrencius Felix of St. Lucia, Jimmy Stephen of Canada, Tiki and Ernella and family of St. Croix; the Lubin family of the US and UK including Wheatley, Angela, Sedeikah, Roma, Baldwin, and Lauren Lubin; the Lubin family of Canada including Dionysia, David, William, Priscilla, Bert, Gilson, Kanta, Dana and their children; Lindley Lubin and family of St. Lucia; the Dolcy, Serieux, Charlery, Augustin families of St. Lucia, UK and U.S.A; the Biscette family of St. Lucia; staff of Piedmont Airlines, USA, Flavia Martial and family, Christine Wilson and Family, Joan Carasco and Germain Gideon all of St. Lucia and Theona Lubin and family of Canada .
All services will be held privately.
