Ronald “Wayne” Luff
January 7, 1947 - August 11, 2019
Ronald “Wayne” Luff, age 72, of West Grove, PA and formerly of Caroline County and Wilmington, DE, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019, in the comfort of his own home following a long illness.
Born in Easton, MD on January 7, 1947, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Mary (Zlock) Luff. Wayne proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War on the USS Arneb. He worked for many years with H.K. Griffith as an estimator.
In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his son, Robert W. “Rob” Luff. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Diane M. (Hubbard) Luff; daughter, Kristyn Luff; sister, Mary Katherine Chancey; and grandchildren, Robert W. Luff, Angalina Rickards and Kaleb M. Luff.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
