Rosa Belle Bradley, age 70, of Newark, DE, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020.

Rosa was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 27, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Allen Leroy Jackson, Jr. and Ida Belle Mitchell. Rosa was a graduate of Delehanty High School in Jamaica, NY in 1968. She continued her education and graduated from Concord School of Cosmetology in Bloomfield, NJ as a licensed nail technician. Rosa completed a course of study to become an administrative assistant. She then worked as an executive secretary at First DeWitt Savings Bank in West Caldwell, NJ and The Arc of Essex in West Orange, NJ.

Rosa was quite creative and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and doing arts and crafts in her spare time. She was also a talented seamstress. Dedicated to her faith, Rosa was an ordained Evangelist at General Assembly Church of Christ in Newark, NJ. She was a choir member and intercessory prayer warrior for Word of Life Ministries in Newark, DE.

In addition to her parents, Rosa was preceded in death by her late husband, Pastor Jeremiah Bradley; four of her children’s father, Walter Haylock; and brothers, William Mitchell, Thomas Mitchell and Charles Mitchell. She is survived by her children, Tonita Hatcher Ervin (Clarence), Allen Hatcher (Liza), Matthew Hatcher, Monique Hatcher, Jonathan Hatcher and April-Joy Gravesande; her children’s father, Joseph Hatcher (Patricia); sister, Ida Delores McKoy; 17 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

All services will be held privately.
