Rosetta “Rose” Kay Yannes (Fioravanti), age 59, of Bear, DE, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013.
A native Delawarean, Rose was born in Newark on June 26, 1953, the oldest of seven children. She enjoyed bowling, playing Bunco, cross-stitching, and volunteering at her grandchildren’s schools and at Newark High School.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony (“Tony”), her father, and her stepfather. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Frank; her daughter, Tanya Casapulla and husband Drew; two grandchildren, Samantha and Jacob; three step grandchildren; her mother; four brothers and a sister; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle. Funeral services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice, 100 Commerce Drive, Ste. 302, Newark, DE 19713 or to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), 455 Stanton-Christiana Road, Newark, DE 19713.
