Roy E. Blaney-Davidson

Roy E. Blaney-Davidson, age 63, of New Castle, DE passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020.

Born in Dover, DE on May 4, 1957, he was the son of Rudey Blaney-Davidson and the late Dina Van Rijndoever Blaney-Davidson. Roy graduated from William Penn High School. He then went to the Netherlands for mechanics. While in the Netherlands, Roy was drafted by the U.S. Marines Corps. and completed his basic training in the U.S. He went to work as a mechanic at Volkswagen and later Mercedes. Later, Roy joined the Union Local 199 and worked as a bricklayer/laborer. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Roy is survived by his sister, Patricia Blaney-Davidson Smerchek; and girlfriend, Gayle P. Shinault.
