Ruth Ann Hetzler, of Delaware City, DE, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at Christiana Hospital.
Born on July 18, 1935, the daughter of Ruth “Toots” Press and the late John E. Press, Ruth Ann was a lifelong resident of Delaware City.
Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Victor Press, and sons, John Gann and David Gann. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughters, Yvonne McVey and Vicki Gene Gann, both of Delaware City; granddaughters, Jacklyn, Kelly, Frances (Drew), Jennifer (Bart), and Mikel; eleven great grandchildren; a niece, Terri Ann, a great niece, and many cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 2nd, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 214 Clinton Street, Delaware City, where visitation will begin at 10 am. Interment will follow in New St. Paul’s Cemetery, Delaware City.
