Ruth E. Taylor, age 88, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020.

Born on August 12, 1932 in Wilmington, DE, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Cora (Hall) Warrington. After graduating from high school, Ruth pursued a career as a Lab Technician for Dodd Dental Lab in Wilmington. She was a life member and former president of the Minquadale Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Ruth adored her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she cherished above all.

In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by 8 siblings and her son, Kevin M. Taylor. She is survived by her husband of many years, Paul H. Taylor, Sr.; children, Paul H. Taylor, Jr. (Jeri) of Lewes, Charles T. Taylor (Susan) of New Castle, and Robert A. Taylor of New Castle; grandchildren, Robert A. Taylor, Jr., Paul H. Taylor III, Shannon M. Taylor, Jeffrey J. Masishin (Barbi), and Jennifer D. Masishin; and great grandchildren, Julia C. Masishin and Hailey N. Taylor.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am to 12 pm on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Face masks will be required for all in attendance. Interment will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth’s memory to Minquadale Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, P.O. Box 647, New Castle, DE 19720 and Compassionate Care Hospice, 405 E Marsh Ln, #4, Newport, DE 19804.
