Scheryl Lynn “Sherry” Stevens, age 64, of Newark, DE, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020.

Born on January 28, 1956 in Wilmington, DE, she was a daughter of the late Jack B. and Delores “Dee” Mae (Truby) Bryan. She attended Newark High School and worked for many years at a local cleaning company. Sherry was an avid reader, and had a passion for Danielle Steele books. She enjoyed being a homemaker and especially loved cooking for her family. In her leisure time, she played computer games and watched game shows. Of all the music she was fond of, her favorite song was “Free Bird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Sherry is survived by her children, Lisa Kisthardt-Moulton (Dean), Nichole Stevens (Kenneth Gritten), and Curtis Stevens; sister, Janice Hanby (Bob); former husband, Malcom Stevens; grandsons, Edward Garrett, Tony Garrett, and Jeremy Gritten; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and a nephew.

All services will be held privately.
