Steve Woloszyn

Steve Woloszyn, age 69, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 19, 2017.
Born in Stuttgart, Germany on July 3, 1948, Steve was the son of the late Dmytrio and Maria Woloszyn. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy. A career Amtrak employee, Steve worked as an electrician for many years before retiring. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed riding motorcycles in his younger days, and adored animals “ especially cats.
He is survived by his brother, John R. Woloszyn (Michele Fontana) of Wilmington; nephew, Charles James Woloszyn (Sherry N.) of Smyrna; and 2 great nephews, Jonathan Charles and James Andrew Woloszyn.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:30 am until 11:30 am on Friday morning, September 1, 2017, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will be held at at 11:30 am. Interment will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE 19701.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Steve’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Read’s Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
