Tamir Dyan Davis - Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes & Crematory

Tamir Dyan Davis

April 4, 1998 - November 2, 2024

Tamir Dyan Davis, age 26, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on April 4, 1998, he was a son of Rodger G. Cole and Tanya Hugh. Tamir attended schools in the Colonial District, and later received his high school diploma from William Penn in 2016. Tamir turned his passion for cars into his career, working as a mechanic at Cole’s Tires.

Tamir could often be found in the kitchen cooking a delicious meal or visiting car shows. He also spent his spare time hosting car meets for his community. Although Mir was born in Philly, no one could tell him he was not a Jamaican citizen. He loved playing as well as watching soccer and was an avid Arsenal fan. Mir most rememberable memory is his love for dancing, he loved dancing no matter what the culture or what genre of music. Mir loved music so much he would DJ. Above all, Tamir cherished the moments he spent with his family. He was the life of the party with an amazing sense of humor, and would lighten your heart with his spirit. Tamir will always be remembered for his loving, caring nature and his desire to help anyone in need. One day when he was out, a man was shot and without hesitation, Tamir put the man in his car and sped away to the hospital to get him help. Today, that man is still alive.

Tamir is survived by his mother, Tanya Hugh; father, Rodger Cole; children, Kairo Davis, Kayden Davis, and his unborn son, Liam Amir Davis; brothers, Shevaughn Nichols, Christopher Cole, Davaun Cole, Ajion Nichols, Rodger Cole Jr., and Quadir Nolton; sisters, Ariel Cole and Skylar Cole; grandparents, Claudette Brown, Alrica Fletcher, Johnny Hugh, and Lorrel Cole; girlfriend, Natalya Chamorro; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 1 pm on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Interment will be held privately.
