Thelma M. Morris

Thelma M. Morris, age 89, of Bear, DE, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020.
Born in Wilmington on August 30, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Russell and Pauline D. (Walsh) McGrath. Thelma worked as a waitress at various restaurants throughout her career but her favorite job of all, was raising her children.
In her leisure time, Thelma enjoyed collecting dolls and Barbies and selling Tupperware. You could always find her in the kitchen whipping up a delicious meal or tasty treats. Thelma was an avid reader and a #1 Elvis Presley fan. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Morris and daughters, Patricia Fisher and Hope Dallabrida. She is survived by her sons, Vince Regusters (Tim), Robert Faries (Geri), Steven Faries, William Morris (Sonnie) and Dwayne Morris (Judy); 11 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11:30 am on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Holy Family R.C. Church, 15 Gender Road, Newark, DE. Face masks will be required for all in attendance. Interment will be held privately.
