Mr. Thomas Henry Allen, age 83, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012, at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE.
Mr. Allen was born in Tennessee on September 15, 1928. He enjoyed a 50-year career with the Chrysler Corporation, working first in Detroit, MI, and later at the Newark plant, where he retired.
His beloved wife, Joan B. Allen, died in 2004. He is survived by his children, Tommy J. Allen, Jackie R. Allen, Susan J. Allen, Roy L. Allen, and John T. Allen.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, in the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 1 pm.
