Tiny B. Burchard, age 90, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012.
Born in Roanoke, VA, on December 14, 1921, Mrs. Burchard was the daughter of the late Burley Whitten Joyce and Ellie Clifton Joyce. She was a beautician by profession.
Mrs. Burchard was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a longtime supporter of the Easter Seals Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Burchard, in 1979. She is survived by her sister, Lorraine Johnson of Richlands, VA; nieces and nephews; and friends, including Helen Taylor of Elkton, MD.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, April 16, 2012, in the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 1 pm. Interment will follow in the adjoining memorial park.
