Toni M. Howard

Ms. Toni M. Howard, age 48, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013, at her home.
Born in Chester, PA, on October 4, 1964, Toni was a 1982 graduate of William Penn High School and would go on to receive her associate’s degree in criminal justice from Delaware Technical Community College. She made her career as an IT professional and team leader with Christiana Care, where she was employed for over 25 years.
Among her many hobbies, Toni greatly enjoyed cooking wonderful, creative meals, planting a beautiful garden around her home each year, woodworking, and writing poetry. She was especially devoted to animals and animal welfare throughout her life. Most of all, Toni delighted in spending time with her family and her many good friends; she will be deeply missed by the many people who loved her.
Toni was preceded in death by her father, Frank H. Howard III. She is survived by her beloved spouse, Candace R. Cloud of Middletown; mother, Ann Curtis Howard of New Castle; brother, Frank H. Howard IV (Jennifer) of Middletown; sisters, Linda A. Moffett (Harry) of Newark, Ruth A. Hallett of Middletown, and Denise E. Sterlicchi (Guy) of Milton; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, June 19th, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 10:30 am.
