Born May 14, 1969

Tracy Lynn Timlin, age 46, of Bear, DE, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2016 after a long fight with cancer.

Born in Salem County, NJ on May 14, 1969, Tracy was the daughter of N. Wayne and Dianna M. (Clark) Flitcraft. She was a graduate of Goldey-Beacom College and a dedicated Corporate Account Manager at Clean Harbors for over 24 years.

Despite her illness, Tracy always made time for the needs of her family and friends. She was selfless and cared immensely for everyone that she knew. Tracy enjoyed many things in life. She loved visiting the Jersey Shore, traveling, country line dancing, concerts and music, especially the band Mike Hines & The Look. Tracy also enjoyed camping, skiing, horseback riding, poolside gatherings, and cheering on the Eagles. Her favorite pastime was making memories, whether it was collecting snowmen, baking cookies, hosting her cookie swaps, or having mother/daughter Christmas gatherings. Tracy was also a devoted member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church. She will be missed dearly by all that knew her.

In addition to her parents, Tracy is survived by her husband, Donald P. Timlin, Sr.; son, Jordan A. Timlin; daughter, Jessica E. Timlin; stepsons, Donald P. Timlin, Jr. and Nicholas W. Timlin (Chrissy Gross); brother, William W. Flitcraft; sister-in-law, Helen E. Flitcraft; nieces, Emily G. and Katelyn P. Flitcraft; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday afternoon, February 22, 2016, at the Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 3135 Summit Bridge Rd, Bear, DE, 19701, where a visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jordan and Jessica Timlin Education Fund, c/o Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes, 1000 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE, 19720.

  • Tracy was a strong and confident person . She was an inspiration to all that knew her . Tracy lived life to fullest . She was a fighter . Her battle is now over, she fought it with strength and courage . God knew that she could only endure this battle for so long, he knew what was best for her . We can still see Tracy, look at her family and you’ll see her . You were always there for me, encouraging me, caring for me. I will always treasure the time we spent together and the memories .   • Although I didn’t get to spend a lot of time with Tracy and only met her a couple of times ( when Jordan and Jessica came over to play with Meghan). I was struck by Tracy’s personality, positive outlook and energy. She was down to earth, friendly and very approachable. We are extremely sorry for the loss.
