Walter G. “Glenn” Carlton

Walter G. “Glenn” Carlton, age 88, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020. 

Born in Greentown, PA on October 26, 1931, he was a son of the late Royal and Caroline (Warner) Carlton. Glenn worked in Machine Maintenance at Diamond Shamrock Corp. He was deeply passionate about working and providing for his family. In his spare time, Glenn enjoyed watching baseball and football. 

In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Carlton; son, Brian Carlton; and siblings, Evelyn Naughton, June Pettit and Bruce Carlton. He is survived by his children, Vivian McKee (Jim) of Middletown, Martin Carlton (Sharon) of New Castle, Cindy Woodard (Wayne) of Laurel Hill, NC and Walter Carlton, Jr. of Tampa, FL; brother, Reed Carlton (Pearl) of Newark; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. 

All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
