Warren Lee Emmell, age 69, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2021.

Born in Wilmington, DE on June 22, 1952, he was the son of the late William Emmell and Erline (Colburn) Staford. Warren proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. After his service, he worked as a supervisor for the Town of Middletown, until his retirement.

In his leisure time, Warren enjoyed all things outdoors, including, hunting, fishing, camping, and riding his Harley-Davidson. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded in death by his sisters, Kathy and Diane. He is survived by his wife, June E. (Buckalew) Emmell; children, Nicole Thompson, Eric Emmell, and Crystal Sulecki; grandchildren, Dione, Levi, Mariah, Joseph, Adriana, Makenzi, and Jayden; siblings, Betty Lou, Billy, Eddie, and Chris; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

All services will be held privately.
