Wilhelmina L. Soccorso

Mrs. Wilhelmina L. Soccorso, age 88, of New Castle, DE, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 2, 2012.
A native Delawarean, Mrs. Soccorso was born in Wilmington on September 25, 1923. She was a talented homemaker and devoted her life to caring for her beloved family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 1/2 years, Edward F. Soccorso, Sr.; four children, Edward Jr. and wife, Glenda, Paula, Wayne, and Joe; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Boardman.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, April 5, 2012, in the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in the adjoining memorial park.
The family requests that flowers not be sent.
