4 Condolences for William F. “Bill” Shiflett, Jr.

  • My Dear Uncle Bill you will be missed so much. Thank you for all the great things you did for my family. You will always be in our hearts. Until we meet again.
    Patty

  • Uncle Bill, you always brightened my days when you would give me one of your beautiful hugs. I’m glad that you were quickly reunited with Aunt Elaine. You two never could go anywhere without each other, not that I can tell. One of my favorite memories of you, eating and 100% enjoying Thanksgiving dinner, then sitting in the chair and falling asleep… your head not leaning on a darn thing. No more suffering, sweet man.

Russell, Paula and Kai, I am so sorry that you all have had such profound losses over the last couple of months. Sending lots of love to you all.

  • Deepest sympathy to all of you from the Penhollow family (North East Fire Co.) ❤️

  • Uncle Bill was an honest and good man, respected by so many. Sad to lose both Aunt Elaine and Uncle Bill so close together but they were inseparable for more than 60 years so I am certain their energies just missed each other and needed to reunite in heaven. Like Dawn, I do miss the entire family gathering at Christmas in Chestertown. Those were very good days for certain. Aunt Elaine’s nutcracker collection on full display throughout the house. Sorry everyone that I could not make it in from California for the service.
