William Reed McNeal, Jr., age 71, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on November 6, 2011
Born in Wilmington on December 20, 1939, Bill was the son of the late William R. McNeal, Sr. and Ann Mary Gamble McNeal. After retiring from Painters Local 100, he continued working for Edward J. DeSeta Co., Inc.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John McNeal, Sr. Bill leaves behind his wife of 21 years, Valerie McNeal; sister, Barbara McMann; children, Debbie Holloway (Bill), Cindi Carr (Tom), William R. McNeal III, Michael McNeal, and Patrick McNeal (Denise); stepdaughters, Michelle Dingman (Daniel) and Peggy Sue Farmer; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In keeping with Bill’s wishes, services will be held privately.
