William T. Reusch III

Mr. William T. “Bill” Reusch III, age 60, of Newark, DE, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012, surrounded by his family.
A native Delawarean, Bill was born in Wilmington on September 17, 1952, son of William T. Reusch, Jr. and Faye Lane Reusch. He made his career in professional sales, working for both Sears and J & L Building Materials.
Bill was an avid sports fan throughout his life and especially enjoyed cheering each season for his favorite team, the Phillies, and attending the games with his best friend, Bill. He was a devoted family man above all else and cherished his beloved wife, daughters, and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Ann Barbee Reusch; daughter, Heather Reusch and her fiancé Tony Plesanton of Newark; daughter, Kimberly Matyger and her husband Allen Jr. of Middletown; grandchildren, Olivia Reusch, William Reusch, Jackson Matyger, and Mollie Matyger; sister, Deborah Reusch of Wilmington; and best friend, William “Bill” Sniegowski of Bear.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Slease and his staff at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center; to Dr. Bean; to the nurses of Vitas Hospice, especially Aaron Wheeler; and to manager Betty Stone, RN, and the staff of 6B at Christiana Hospital for their many kindnesses to Bill during his illness.
A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, December 15th, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, where visitation will begin at 9 am. Interment will be held privately at St. Georges (DE) Cemetery.
