Zilla Edna “Eddie” Stanley Zook

Zilla Edna Stanley Zook, known fondly as “Eddie,” age 61, of Newark, DE, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2012.
Born in Abbs Valley, VA, on May 18, 1951, Eddie was the daughter of the late Edward Stanley and Zora E. Church Stanley. She was a gifted child care professional and provided expert day care service in her home for over 13 years. Previously, she was employed in home health care.
She is survived by her daughters, Amy A. Zook, Brianna C. Zook, and Brandy N. Zook; brothers, Charles Stanley (Barbara) and Bruce Stanley (Carolyn); sister, Pearl Knopp (Charles); and grandchildren, Rylee Zook and Lucas Cuellar-Zook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Phyllis Banks and Janet Stanley.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm on Monday, October 1, 2012, at Fairwinds Baptist Church, 801 Seymour Road, Bear.
