I met Jim in 1971 in the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. We became good friends thru out the past 50 years. We attended scuba diving class together and participated in numerous dives off the New Jersey coast. We also had lots of great fishing and hunting trips thru out the years. The one thing I loved about Jim was his willingness to share personal feelings with me. I really appreciated that! Many times we talked thru personal problems resulting in positive outcomes.
Jim, I love you as a brother and may God have a place for you in heaven.

I have just learned of Jim’s passing. We had been friends since the 90s, when we worked at the Naval Depot together. Jim, myself, and Rich Haney, another Depot retiree, used to have lunch at Maggie’s on the Delaware monthly, untill my permanent move to Florida in 2020. Jim was great guy and loved his hunting seasons. I’ll miss our texts and Tele conversations. My deepest sympathy to his family. A. Bethel.

I served with Jim in the US Navy in Rota Spain. We lived near each other and spent many fun days in southern Spain. Jim hosted me in PA when I was mustering out of Navy. We had some good times down in Delaware before I headed back to Texas. I miss him and his great emails and posts. Rest In Peace Brother.
