Patricia Ann “Patty” Flanagan

August 5, 1958 - December 11, 2022

Patricia Ann “Patty” Flanagan, age 64, of Townsend, DE, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 11, 2022.

Born in West Chester, PA, on August 5, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Darrell and Shirley (Holcomb) Taylor. Patty went to Elkton Christian School and was a part of the first class to graduate from Glasgow High School in 1972.

Patty enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, collecting sea glass and sea shells with her daughters and grandkids. She liked the outdoors and working in her yard. Patty loved being in the woods to watch the squirrels, birds and most of all, looking for deer with Cole. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and being a mommom.

Patty is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Roger W. Flanagan of Townsend, DE; loving children, Shelly Kelley of Middletown, DE, Forrest Flanagan of Bear, DE, James Flanagan (Lauren) of Townsend, DE, Ronald Flanagan of Middletown, DE, Shirley Serio (Mark) of Smyrna, DE, and Sarah Flanagan of Townsend, DE; sisters, Shelby Eshelman (Rocky) of Lancaster, PA, Linda Randall (James) of Atlanta, GA, and Janie Shaw (Donnie) of Bear, DE; grandchildren, Forrest, Ethan, Ryan, Abby, Bella, Josh, Daryl, Addy, and Cole; and many nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will be held at 11 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.
