Ronald C. “Ronnie” Teague, age 78, of Bear, DE, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on April 16, 1944, he was the son of the late Chester C. and Frances (Morris) Teague. Ronnie was the proud owner of Christiana Auto Parts for over 40 years until his retirement.

Ronnie was an avid sports fan and could often be found cheering on his favorite football teams. He also enjoyed drag racing and watching NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mildred J. (Reynolds) Teague; sons, Ronnie and Donnie (Betty Toller); grandchildren, Ronnie Jr., Sharon (Tony Austin), and Tommy; and great-grandchild, Ryan Austin.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 am until 11 am on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.

Ronnie was great man who always had a passion for his family and racing. He will be missed. A larger than life man with a great heart and was always willing to help anyone. RIP Ronnie you will be missed by so many.

We went to school together, rode the same bus at the same bus stop, and he lived across the pasture field on the other side of the fence of the farm where I grew up, and still live on the same road.
