Galena Marie Wilson

Galena Marie Wilson, age 103, of Newark, DE, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026.

Galena was born in Athol, KY on September 9, 1922.  She spent the majority of her life residing in West Virginia and during her mid-life years the family relocated to Newark, DE where she resided until her death.  Her primary focus has always been to attend to the daily needs of her husband and family.

Galena was preceded in death by her husband, Lake Marshall Wilson.  She is survived by her three daughters, Marsha Bachorik (Bob), Marilyn Gerzema (Rodger), Doris Short (Bruce); three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

We pray and trust that she is now pain free and at peace during her afterlife.

All services will be held privately.
