Eileen O. Grundy, age 68, of Bellefonte, DE, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
Born and raised in Linwood, PA on December 6, 1957, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Mary (McKenna) O’Conner and has been a resident of Bellefonte for the past 39 years. Eileen worked for DuPont until her retirement in 2001. She enjoyed traveling, and watching movies and sports.
Eileen is survived by her loving husband, John A. Grundy; sisters, Anne Steel (Richard), Maureen Petke (Ken), and Kathy Fisher (Bill); brother, John O’Connor (Rosemary); and many loving nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 12 pm on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, Delaware, where a funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Interment will be held privately.
