Bill has been licensed to provide insurance services to clients since 1981. He is also a licensed funeral director in Delaware. Bill is a member of the Rotary Club of Newark and is active with the Chapel Street Players (community theatre). He has three children and eight grandchildren and enjoys tennis, golf, and gardening. Mary Etta has been in the funeral industry since 1997 and joined Spicer-Mullikin in 2014. She is licensed in DE and MD, and is also a Certified Pre-Planning Consultant and a Certified Crematory Operator through the NFDA. Mary Etta is a member of the Rotary Club of Southern New Castle County, the National Funeral Directors Association, and DE State Funeral Directors Association. She enjoys spending time with her two children and granddaughter.
Director of Administration and Communication
Kristy is a native Delawarean and graduated from Middletown High School. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware. Kristy has a strong customer service background and truly enjoys helping others. She is very active in her parish, St. Anthony of Padua and giving back to her community. She enjoys the beach, traveling, running and most of all spending time with her husband and two daughters.
D. Michele Fontana,
Assistant Administrative Manager
Michele has been the backbone of administrative management for Spicer-Mullikin since 1999. She enjoys playing rummy and dominoes and hosting family get-togethers. Michele has four children and nine grandchildren. Having all the generations of the Fontana family under one roof remains her greatest pleasure.
Raised in Delaware, Lauren is a 2009 graduate of Christiana High School. Lauren has spent most of her career in customer service because she enjoys helping others. She is honored to serve her community during their greatest time of need. Lauren joined Spicer-Mullikin in 2015, and in her leisure time, enjoys being outdoors and traveling.
Aftercare Coordinator and Grief Specialist
Heather co-facilitates our grief support groups, providing support to individuals as they navigate grief. She joined Spicer-Mullikin in 2011. Heather lives in Newark with her family and likes to walk, hike, read, cook and volunteer. Taryn received a degree in funeral service from Northampton Community College. A lifelong resident of Wilmington, Taryn graduated from Glasgow High School, and has worked in the funeral service field since she was 17. Taryn joined Spicer-Mullikin in 2015.
Katherine “Kit” Angell,
Grief Services Consultant
Kit has worked with grieving families since 1986. She holds a master’s in social work and was the founder of SAM (Survivors of Accident and Murder). She has 3 sons, 2 daughters, and twin 5-year-old granddaughters. Kit likes to sing, read and travel.
Samantha Christie, Office Manager
Samantha was born and raised in Delaware. A Newark High School graduate, Samantha’s career has always been customer-care focused. Her dedication to helping others is well known to those with whom she has interacted. Samantha loves to cook and relaxing at the beach. Best of all, she loves spending time with her husband, family and friends.
