Adam Z. Link

Adam Z. Link, of Dover, Delaware, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2023, surrounded by loved ones at the young age of 44.
Born in Dover, Delaware on December 12, 1978, he was the son of Sandra Russell and the late Dr. Lester Link III. Adam later moved to New Castle, Delaware, where he was a member of the Penn Acres Dolphins swim team and played baseball for Suburban Little League. In his early teenage years, Adam moved back to Dover where his passion for the outdoors grew immensely, whether it be on the beach, fishing, camping, or hunting. He was truly an outdoors guy and could fish all day if time allowed. Adam was a gifted carpenter by trade and once owned his own construction company. Adam had an adventurous, compassionate, friendly soul that loved his family and friends dearly. He was a devoted and treasured son, brother, and friend. Adam will be greatly missed, but surely not forgotten.
In addition to his father, Adam has now been reunited with both sets of grandparents and many beloved family members. Adam is survived by his mother, Sandra Russell (Dana) of Newark, DE; step-mother, Janet Kisner Link of Dover, DE; sibling, Kendra Dilaver (Sarper) West Milford, NJ; niece, Kaitlyn Dilaver; step-siblings, Kim Johnson of Dover, DE, Crystal Akers (Joe) of Baltimore, MD, Chris Kisner of Smyrna, DE, and Marie Golden (Garrett) of Harrington, DE; uncle, Scott Link (Rae) of Zionsville, PA; aunt, Sandy Link-Depretis of Port Charlotte, FL; step-aunt, Leilani Walker Brown (George) of Onancock, VA; step-uncle, Patrick Walker of Newark, DE; step-cousins, Bram Walker (Kristyn) Colonial Beach, VA, Amber Deputy (Brent) of Newark, DE, and Rhett Walker (Emily) of Charlottesville, VA; and many additional cherished family and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 11 am. Interment will be held privately.
