Albert Arnold “Butch” Johnson, age 81, of Dover, DE, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023.

Born in Wilmington, DE on September 8, 1941, he was a son of the late Armstead Ennis and Pearl Elizabeth Johnson. Butch loved working on cars and enjoyed watching his favorite team, the Denver Broncos.

In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by his sister, Clarissa Wiggins. He is survived by his wife, Henrietta Ennis-Johnson; children, Albert Haman, Marlin Ennis, Reginald Ennis, Dwayne Ennis, Maureen Church, Beverly Fields, Lisa Smith, Richard Grines, and Dena Webb; siblings, Alvin Ennis and Nancy Ennis; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, Marie Exume, Denise Mayard, and Ida Jackson; and childhood friend, Otis Lee.

Services will be held privately.
