My deepest condolences to you and your family in this difficult time. Corby was a beautiful person from the moment all the neighbors met at our welcome block party back in 1995. He will always be a war hero and survivor. He would always stop if he saw you walking as he was either going or coming back from DD’s for or with coffee to chat. He had a folder with him to show photos and tell stories of his time in service. He spoke of his wife and children each time with love and kindness. I’ll always remember when he made friends with our pup Tucker instantly. They enjoyed a special connection. Corby would have me test him on his Morse code which he knew like the back of his hand but enjoyed being tested as it made him feel proud. It was one thing he never wanted to forget. He was a proud man.
May he at peace and happy in the spirit world with his high school sweat heart Bonnie.

After reading of Corby’s passing, it’s with a heavy heart that we send to each and everyone our sincere sympathy.
We all grew up together and have many fond memories of our adventures – especially fishing.
Corby and our brother John had a special bond – Army paratroopers.
So fitting that they will be so near in their resting place at the Vets.
Corby was a dear and loving friend and will be missed by many.
He is at peace in the arms of our loving Lord, so you too be at peace.
With love and prayers,
The Leonard family –

Deepest condolences on the loss of a great man and a great friend. I will always be grateful that I was able to reconnect and talk with him, on an almost a daily basis, for the last 2 years. I wish that I lived closer and could of done more for him, but we both enjoyed the hours we spent keeping each other company on the phone. Sometimes he would just practice his morse code for my ‘listening enjoyment’ or teach me German: Ich liebe dich, dein kleiner Schmetterling }:{
Until we meet again – you will be missed my friend!
