Anna D. Wallace

Anna D. Wallace, age 93, of Newark, DE, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026.

Born in Wilmington, DE on August 26, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lucille (Dodds) Reynolds. Anna worked at Clemente’s in the 50’s where she met her future husband, George.  Together they raised 2 children.  Later she worked in the cafeteria at Red Lion Christian Academy where her grandchildren attended.  In their retirement years, George and Anna traveled up and down the east coast in one of their many RV’s.  Most of all, Anna loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, George Berard Wallace, Sr.; and grandson, George B. Wallace III.  She is survived by her children, George B. Wallace, Jr. (Dawn), and Sharon Bielicki (Tony); grandchildren, Joshua, Katie, Jill, Faith, Sarah, Grace, and Anna; great-grandchildren, Garrett, Madelynn, and Colton; and her beloved 4-legged companions, Scooter I and Scooter II.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 a until 11 am on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Bible Fellowship Church, 808 Old Baltimore Pike, Newark, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. A committal service will be held at 2 pm in the chapel at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
