Anna Marie Lynch
February 3, 1943 - December 11, 2025
Anna Marie Lynch, age 82, of Middleton, DE, formerly of Rockaway Beach, NY, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025.
Born in New York, NY on February 3, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Maude (McGaughey) Lambe. Anna was educated at Holy Name Grammar School and later graduated from Thorpe Secretarial High School in Manhattan, class of 1961. Following her graduation, she began her career working as a secretary. Anna eventually dedicated many years to healthcare administration, serving as Director of Admissions at both Park Nursing Home and Sheepshead Bay Nursing Home.
She was a proud resident of Rockaway for over 40 years. Rockaway held a special place in her heart, as it was where her family vacationed during her childhood, and later became the place where she chose to raise her own children.
For the past 10 years, Anna has resided in Delaware, where she continued to enjoy family life and community.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Lynch; daughter, Colleen Lynch; siblings, Frank Lambe, Alice Lawlor, and Agnes Regan. Anna is survived by her son, Shaun Lynch; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 am until 11:30 am on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11:30 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE.
