Audry M. Jackson
October 20, 1946 - February 22, 2024
Audry M. Jackson, age 77, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
Born in Williamsport, KY on October 20, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Millard and Dorothy Lee (Trusty) Clark. Audry was originally a homemaker until she began driving a truck for her parents with Clark’s Used Auto. Excelling at that; it prompted her to become self-employed, driving her own truck, until retirement.
Audry was definitely a woman of many talents; she was an excellent seamstress and good at drawing. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, as well as tending to her garden. In her younger years, she loved canning fruits and vegetables.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Underhill (Steve), Cheryl Henderson, Deborah Kostikidis, Sheila Jackson and Daniela Demers (Jason); grandchildren, Amy Walkinshaw (Mike), Carrie Clements (Brian), Rose Mera (Dave), Jeremy Platt, Tara Henderson, Richard Henderson, George Kostikidis and Phoenix Jackson; siblings; James Clark and Uneitta Anderson; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:30 pm until 3:30 pm on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 3:30 pm. Interment will be held privately.
