Barbara Ann Berg

October 25, 1951 - September 24, 2024

Barbara Ann Berg, age 72, passed away peacefully at her home in Middletown, DE, surrounded by family on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.

Born on October 25, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA, Barbara was known for her dedication to family. She is survived by her husband, George; and their three children and their spouses, Julie (Jon), Chris (Steph), and Jackie (Halle). Barbara was a proud grandmother to Natalie, Cameron, Elli, Alexis, and Maxwell. She is also survived by her brother, Zac (David); and sister, Kim (Lenny).

Barbara’s life was filled with laughter, her signature sarcasm, making conversation everywhere she went, and last but not least (depending on the day), all things Philadelphia sports. Barbara enjoyed visiting casinos around the country and competed in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. She cherished the moments spent with her loved ones, and though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue on in the hearts of all who knew her.

In honor of Barbara’s wishes, there will be no formal service. Instead, the family encourages everyone to share memories and honor her in your own personal way. We invite you to reflect on the joy Barbara brought into our lives and share that love with others.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or online by clicking here; or the Pennsylvania SPCA, 350 East Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134 or online by clicking here, to honor Barbara’s legacy and her love of animals.
