I am shocked at hearing this news. I know she cherished her time with her children and grandchildren. I know she is in a happy place now. Life has had many challenges for her but she pushed on. May she rest in peace now.

She was Darnell to me, my best friend through grade school. We were constant companions. Darnell’s liveliness and humor would make us laugh and laugh. Distance and time separated us; she was dealt a heavy load in life. Above all, I do know how much she loved all her boys. Rest easy now my dear buddy.
