Barbara L. Fels, age 75, of Newark, DE, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020.
Born in Stillwater, OK on August 7, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Olen and Vergie (Davis) Washburn. Barbara worked as a cake decorator at Weiss Supermarket. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking and sewing.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her siblings, Harold Washburn, Jack, Ruby Ann and Bonnie Burnett. She is survived by her children, Christopher Fels of Newark, Sonya Testerman of Newark, Annette Fels of PA and Kai Fels of Newark; siblings, Don Washburn (Tammy) of Stomping Grounds, KY and Karen Burton (Bob) of Stillwater, OK; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
All services will be held privately.

Barbara I will love you forever. You were the best at being an older sister. I know that Mother and Daddy, Jack, Ruby Ann, Harold and Bonnie were there to greet you in Heaven. Love you, Karen.

Barb was such an awesome person, I remember she won tickets for a male strip show off the radio and asked me to go with her. I was pregnant with Nicole at the time and unable to have cocktails but we had such a blast! She always was so bubbly and smiling. I’ve missed her so much and am thankful she is at piece and her bubbly self in heaven ❤

We are so sorry to learn of Barbara’s death. We have many good memories from our life on Perkins Road, Stillwater, OK. We remember playing croquet, making sand castles, playing Monopoly and Clue. Our families were close as we were neighbors. We know that she is in a much better place. We wish you God’s peace and consolation.
