Dennis & family , despite the years apart, please know that time can not dampen the friendship and fellowship we shared at White Clay PC. We are saddened to hear this news ; Bev was so full of life and joy in everything she did, it seemed to us, and others would always benefit simply from being in her presence. Bev was one of the best teachers I have worked with! It was just a short time in Chicago in the 1970s, just before their son was born. We tried to travel together the past few years, but it didn’t work. I was tearful when I read this announcement… I was so hoping to have another time together..
Dennis, I am so sorry!

Dennis, My heart aches for you and your family. Bev was such a blessing to so many people and she did so in so many ways. She was the one who saved me from the depths of my grief when Sandy passed away 40 years ago. She was the one who turned me on to Amy Grant and songs of faith and hope that I still listen to today.
Dennis, know that I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

My first memory of Bev was when I 1st moved to DE and bought my granddaughter to the sanctuary to join the Christmas Pagent …we were early and as we came up the stairs I heard the most beautiful voice singing the praises of God…I honestly thought it was an angel!!! Bev truly instilled a love of music in Veronica who now plays drums, the guitar & is in the school choir…I will always be thankful for Bev’s influence. Dennis know you are surrounded by love….and Veronica sends you a hug…

Dear Dennis,
While I know Linda posted a message from the three Zierenberg sisters, I felt compelled to post my own. First, Mom told me I was close to being named Beverly. I would’ve been Beverly Jean #2. But, I ended up being Barbara Jean. Second, I am grateful to have been a part of yours and Bev’s big day. I was a part of the day you gave your vows to each other and began your long lifetime of love with each other. It warms my heart that the two of you were a stellar example of how marriage should be…love, respect, and happiness! I smile knowing that Bev found the love of her life!!! I hope the memories you shared with your wife bring you peace and comfort going forward.
Love,
Your flower girl, Barbara Jean
