  • I forget exactly how Bonnie and I met, but we were in the 4ᴛʜ grade. I liked her immediately. We walked home from school together nearly every day in elementary school. I loved being invited to Bonnie’s house, there was so much laughter and love. Being a quirky child, I always appreciated how accepting she and her family were of me. I wish I had told her how significant she is to so many of my happy childhood memories and how frequently I would think of her. I don’t think I would know what a normal family is supposed to be if not for her. Even though we lost touch over the years, it made me feel good to know that Bonnie, my dear friend, was out there in the world. I am deeply saddened by her passing, but I’m so fortunate for having known her.

  • Bonnie was a great neighbor for almost forty years. Even though we didn’t visit a lot because of our hectic lives, she had such a warm and caring way about her and if we needed her, we knew she & Mark would be there for us. A lot of the children from Bonnie’s daycare also attended the school so we had a lot of contact. We always enjoyed each others company, Bonnie was funny and real. Later we would see each other at classes we attended and she would give me all the info on the “boys” and their lives. Mark Brian and Kevin, I am so sorry for your loss. I’m so honored Bonnie and I had that time together, she was a bright and shining light 🌈🙏
