Brad Saint Slader

Brad Saint Slader, 58, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away suddenly on Saturday morning, September 5, 2026. He was born on October 18, 1967, and spent most of his life in Delaware and Pennsylvania.

Brad was the father of twin sons, Coleman and Clark, whom he shared with Jill Slader-Young. They were the center of his life. He shared with them his humor, his stories, his love of movies and comic books, his interest in the Scottish Games, and his lifelong love of Dungeons & Dragons. That love of storytelling and imagination continues with his sons, who now play too.

Brad worked for more than 30 years with Bank of America, beginning his career when it was MBNA. He earned his associate degree from Goldey-Beacom College while putting himself through school and building a life through hard work and determination. In his younger years, Brad was involved in semi-professional wrestling and semi-professional football.

Brad spent meaningful summers on Whidbey Island in Washington with his uncle. Throughout his life, he was surrounded by friends who became family. Among them was Mike Evanco, lovingly known to Coleman and Clark as “Uncle Mike,” who was like a brother to Brad.

Brad was preceded in death by his mother, Sara; his uncle, Al; and his dear friend, Mike Evanco. He is survived by his sons, Coleman and Clark; his extended family; and many friends who loved him and considered him family.

Brad will be remembered for his humor, his resilience, his stories, his imagination, and the place he held in the lives of his sons.

A funeral Mass will begin at 11:30 am on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at St. John the Beloved R.C. Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE. Inurnment will be held privately. Information regarding the repast will be shared soon with family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe has been established to support Brad’s sons, Coleman and Clark, with funeral expenses and the immediate financial responsibilities they are facing following his sudden death.
