C. Bane Curtis

C. Bane Curtis, age 86, of Newark, DE, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018.
Born in Hartwood, VA on March 12, 1932, he was a son of the late Jessee and Emma (Wakefield) Curtis. Bane spent his career as a car hauler in the trucking industry and retired after many dedicated years.
In addition to his parents, Bane was preceded in death by his son, Darrell Curtis. He is survived by his children, Larry Bane Curtis (Colleen) of Bear and Monette Rebecca of Nashville, TN; siblings, Enoch Curtis, Catherine Prince, Carlin Curtis, Grace-Lou Beverly and James Curtis, all of VA; grandchildren, Lee, Kyle, Daniel, Ashley, Elizabeth and Taylor Curtis; daughter-in-law, Marybeth Curtis of Newark; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service and interment will be held privately at Curtis Memorial Park in Hartwood, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bane’s name to Alzheimers Association, 399 Market Street, Ste. 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
