  • I am saddened to hear of Wayne’s passing. Wayne was cooperator with the state’s mosquito control program for many years offering his property each summer to host one of our sentinel chicken flocks as well as interacting with us about the water management of his backyard Dragon Run Marsh. Wayne always gave it to me straight and “told me how it was” serving as a good historian answering my questions about the history of the marsh.

  • I am so saddened to learn, just yesterday, of the passing of dear Wayne. He and his wife Vivien, of 69 years, for many years joined the annual Pettinato Family in WV, where we all came to love them as a big part of our family. Wayne was such a sweet man and a gentleman in every sense of the word. My sincerest condolences to Cousin Vivien, their children and all of the Delaware Pettinaro and Brittingham families. Wayne…may you R.I.P.
