Carol Ann Turk

Carol Ann Turk, age 79, of Townsend, DE, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
Born in Jersey City, NJ on January 18, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Wevurski) Mackowski. Carol worked as a clerk at Hess Co.
In her spare time, Carol loved playing Canasta with the ladies at Legacy at Odessa or challenging her grandchildren to a card game. She also enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel or reading James Patterson novels. Carol spent countless hours in the kitchen cooking delicious meals for her family and friends. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Joseph Turk; children, Frank Venutolo (Ashley Artfitch) and Kimberly Hadu (Eddie Cabrera); stepchildren, Denise Sosulski (Adam), Dawn Sivak, and David Turk (Olga Morgado); grandchildren, Dylan, Giana, Randall, Harrison, Christian, Sophia, Jacob, and Chelsea; and brother, Ron Mackowski.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12 pm until 1 pm on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Interment will be held privately.
