Catherine A.T. “Cathy” Palmer

Catherine A.T. “Cathy” Palmer, age 75, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

Born in Darby, PA, on February 21, 1951, she was a daughter of the late David and Helen (Davis) Green. Cathy worked as the chief custodian at Brandywine School District for over 30 years until her retirement.

Cathy loved spending her free time reading her newest book. She could often be found going for walks, and had an appreciation for wildlife. Cathy enjoyed traveling with her husband, Henry.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Palmer; daughter, Jennifer Cheeseman; and brother, David Green. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Sachs; stepdaughter, Jessie Sachs; sister, Suzanne Green; and grandchildren, Yvette Cheeseman, Zachary Sachs, and Anthony Sachs.

All services will be held privately.
