  • I’m so sorry to hear of Cathy’s loss. We were CCHS classmates, and got back in touch via Facebook. Then one day she introduced herself to my daughter at the elementary school where we both had grandchildren! We finally got together and had about a 3-hour lunch, a great time. This January, we decided to go again after Cathy felt better and the weather warmed up. She was so very proud of her family, and had a great sense of humor, and she will be missed. I’m praying for all of you, for your comfort and peace of mind and heart. May your memories of Cathy forever be a blessing and bring you smiles.
    Loving condolences,

I will carry many fond memories of Mrs G including trips to the shore and fun house fiascos, our trip to Saint Michaels, Black Friday shopping, holiday dinners, (including the best antipasta I’ve ever had), lunches out, long talks and..well there are just too many wonderful memories to count. She will be dearly missed but I know “Auntie Lynne” is looking out for her. Love you guys!

  • Chris,
Jim and I send our deepest sympathies to you and your entire family. Your mom was a great lady that was loved by many. May she rest in peace.

  • Jim and Family,
I had a difficult time trying to find words when I sent you a card and I still am, but, I do want you to know that I thought Cathy was a special person, as you know she was. Years ago when I was still in Sorority with them she picked me to be her ” New best friend” , that’s what she called me – I know I was not her only friend or her best by any means, but we had a lovely connection and I cherished her grace, kindness, humor and understanding of the unspoken. My mom would tell me each time she would see Cathy – your new best friend said hello and I would smile and typically send her a note. I am so saddened by the loss that we are all sharing in, I know it hurts. But, I also have a thankful place in my heart for knowing her and for the fact the she was not put through too much suffering. I know that she is sharing her special personality somewhere up there with the lord and other loved ones. Sharing in your grief and sending huge hugs and thoughts for lots of memories shared while you gather in her honor.
